A. Volcano: Mt. St. Helens. Fold Mountain: Appalachians. Plateau: Tibetian. Shield: Hawaii (take your pick) Plain: Great Plains. Valley: Death Valley.

What would be the best central location to stay in the Costa Del Sol?
Q. My husband and I are planning a week long trip to the Costa Del Sol. We plan to visit Gibralter and Tangier for sure but are still planning our other excursions (would love suggestions). We would like to stay in one central location for the week and do day trips from there. I would love some suggestions as to what would be the best location and must see places while we are there.

A. I do not think that Tangier is that great. Gibraltar is ok just to say you went into the caves and saw the monkees. I would rather stay farther up the coast in Torremolinas at the Hotel Bajondillo. Very cheap, but clean and fantastic views and many Europeans there. From there you are very close to the train or bus to other places along the coast, be it Nerja or Ronda or Granada. Don't miss those places! In this hotel you can get all the info you want and make that your base. It is in the middle of the Costa del Sol! Forget Marbella since it is very expensive and the old section has nothing that you cannot see in Ronda or Mijas. Definitely go to Granada, if not on a tour, which you can get 5 min from the Hotel Bajondillo, or by car, [cont.]

How can i memorize the location of letters in a dressage ring?
Q. I just started dressage and i dont know how to remember the location of the letters. Does anyone have a way to memorize it? This will really help!

A. I had an awfully hard time memorizing them too, when I started. At lower levels, you only need to know the basics: akehcmbfx. (All King Edward's Horses Can Make Big Fences [e]Xceptionally.) At the higher levels, you need to know them all. The letters around the edge are: akveshcmrbpf (All King Victor's Expensive Show Horses Can Make Regal Barristers Place Fantastically.) And centre line: DLXIG (Dagmar Loves [e]Xperiencing Irish Galway).
